Pack Ranks

Wolf Ranks[/u][/size]
(In order of rank, highest to lowest)

• Alpha Male - The male leader of the pack.
  
• Alpha Female - The female leader of the pack.
  
• Beta - Male or Female, usually two, these wolves are second in command.
  
• Delta - Male or Female, these wolves are Betas in training.
  
• Centennial - Male or Female, usually three, these wolves patrol the territory and watch over the pack
  
• Scout - These wolves act like messengers. These wolves warn of danger, visit other packs, and deliver messages.
  
• Elder - The eldest wolves in the pack, too old or weak to participate in pack activities.
  
• Pup - The newborn wolves of the pack, they are too young to participate in pack activities. Pups born to Alphas become alphas, pups born to Betas become Betas, and so on.
  
• Omega - The lowest ranking wolf. Almost always young, this wolf babysits the pups, and does not participate in pack activities.
